About the artist 🖌️
Hey there, I’m Georgia, a South African-based artist & illustrator living in London. I graduated from Leeds Arts University in 2022 with a degree in Visual Communication, where I specialised in children's book illustration but gradually progressed to creating merchandise & mural designs.
My work is very bright and colourful, often featuring tropical themes, reflecting my passion for travel and my childhood growing up in South Africa. Being surrounded by nature and life is what gives me inspiration to create. I absorb my surroundings and express them through a pencil and paper (or an iPad and pen).
From a young age, art has always been an outlet. I’ve ventured into sculpture, but drawing and painting have always been more rewarding, and I prefer the process of creating a blank page or canvas and turning it into something beautiful that hopefully inspires others to create.
