Finding balance in the buzzling city of London

In a big city, its important to have your nature breaks. Hampstead Heath is my favourite place to unwind and get some of that fresh London air! Primrose Hill is a close second, but nothing beats an early morning dip in the heath's ponds followed by coffee and some sketching at euphonium.

It's easy to feel overwhelmed and isolated in the city, so having your safe space (mine being Hampstead Heath) is vital to your mental health, that and your inner circle of friends. London can be a place to really thrive, but from my experience as someone who grew up outside the UK you can also get a bit lost. I'm grounded through the friends I've made, my sisters who are close by and lastly by the creativity surrounding me. You'll never live anywhere else with as much excitement and like-minded creative people as there are in London. There is no better place to create, and if you haven't found your people yet, I assure you that you will.

If I had to tell you my favourite day date, it would be coffee from any independent coffee house (and there are many), a gallery browse, and just a wander around the city. I experience each day differently and the city brings constant surprises, which gives me energy to create.
